Warzone Imperial Trenchers

Hey,

Yesterday I speed-painted some Imperial Trenchers for Warzone.
I've always loved the look of the Trencher models, so it was alot of fun to paint them. Once I've speedpainted more Warzone models I might even return to these guys to do a mor proper paintjob on them :)
Next up will be to finish the Imperial Starter Set and the do the Bauhaus one to have these forces fight eachother as is proper!

Warzone Shadow Walkers

So, I've been assembling quite a large bunch of Warzone miniatures these past few days. As anyone who have done so knows, these miniatures can be quite fiddly and need some cleaning up before gluing them. I was going to take a break before continuing the project, when I stumbled upon these Mishima Shadow Walker miniatures that to my great surprise came already assembled and with scenic bases as well!

Oh the joy of not having to assemble these fellows! :) And cool poses as well, one of them is even throwing some shuriken around! If this would have been the future of Warzone Resurrection, I'm even sadder it blew up!

Picked up another box of goodies today! :)

I really love the Mutant Chronicles universe, and was sad to see the Warzone miniatures go. So I just "had" to get some more before Prodos stopped selling them!

Unfortunately, I got an Eradicator Deathdroid instead of the Orca Battlesuit I ordered. Hopefully Prodos will take care of it for me. The Deathdroid is an awesome model for sure, but I already own one of them :)

I did get the awesome Brotherhood model Roberto Feltordo (2nd picture) for free though - thanks Prodos!

Painting Flames of War Desert Hills

Hi!

I recently found myself the winner of a large Flames of War auction, and I'm gonna spend some time to turn the desert hills into regular "grey" hills.

So far I've painted one of the large hills - you can see the original desert one and the painted one below. I've yet to glue any flock to the hill but so far I'm pretty pleased with the result.

I'm also really pleased with the quality of this plastic "Extra Large Desert Hill" from the Battlefield in a Box terrain set. It seems lightweight but still sturdy enough to support gaming well.

Dust 1947 Freeform: Axis vs Allies (60AP) - Part 1

Background

Bazooka Joe looked around. He felt pride as he watched his Rangers get their gear together. They were good men, the lot of them! 

Still, he could not help but feel a sting of worry as he pondered the latest intel he had received. The intel told of two artefacts of strange origin in the area, two artefacts the Allies needed to get their hands on asap! 

But the Intel had also showed something else... If the information was to be trusted, and Joe saw no reason not to, the damned Blutkrauz was also around here somewhere. The enemy were no doubt also looking for the artefacts. Bazooka Joe could almost feel the presence of his hated foe, Sigrid von Thaler of the Blutkrauz. 

Still, his orders were clear - move in, decipher what you can from the artefacts, and move out.

The Mission

- The Allies mission is to reach the two objectives. Starting from Turn 2, the Allied player receives 1 Victory Point at the end of each turn one of his units stands on an objective.

- If the Allies reach at least 4 VP:s, they have won the game. However, vehicles cannot be used to decipher the artefacts and scores 0 VP:s by standing on an objective.

- The Axis must prevent the Allies from claiming the artefact sites! If the Allies has gained no more than 2 VP at the end of the 6th turn, the Axis player wins. 

- If the allies only manages to gain 3 VP:s, the game is a draw. This means that although some information has been deciphered for the Allied scientists to go forward with the research, they will do so at a much slower pace than is necessary.
