WarmaHordes for AoS!

For a long time now, the Warmachine section of this blog has been neglected. Now that we have reached a truly stable version of the Comp, it is time to revisit the exciting world of WarmaHordes and turn them into playable factions in Age of Sigmar (including PPC point costs of course)!

Fyreslayer List Updated

The Fyreslayer army list has been updated with the Grimwrath Berzerker (120p) and the Battlesmith (165p) entries.

Force Organisation Rule Change

Allright folks, it has been decided.

There has been an overwhelmingly positive response to the suggestion to have the MONSTERS & WARMACHINE limit raised to 50%.

This will be done by the next update, but I encourage everyone to start using this change as soon as possible!

Increasing Monsters/Warmachine Limit

At the moment, we are heading for a direction where the monsters/warmachine restriction of 25% is increased to 50%. We've played this way lately and have not found anything unbalanced about it, but only more fun when building our armies. Does anyone here object to this change, and why if so.

Dread Saurian

Heya!

The mighty Dread Saurian from Forge World has been calculated and comes in at a whooping 550 pts!

I'm adding this to the Seraphon list for the next update, but you will find this info in the comments section of the PPC Comp pack until then.

New! Terrain Costs!

Hi all,

Those of you following our Dakkadakka thread will know that some time ago, NinthMusketeer took it upon himself to pointify the terrain pieces released by Games Workshop. The result of his work can now be found on the PPC Comp page, HERE!

Gaunt Summoner Rule Clarification

A new version (2016-01b) of the Warriors of Chaos points list has been uploaded. 

The only change is the addition of this rule for the Gaunt Summoner:

* Gaunt Summoner’s ability Book of Profane Secrets may only summon units worth up to 100 pts.

I had previously written about this rule on the blog, but forgot to actually put it in the Chaos list. Thanks to TheDanseMacabre on Dakkadakka for notifying me!

Unit Cards for Daemons of Chaos!

G'evening everyone!

I've uploaded the unit cards for all Daemons of Chaos entries now, including Skarbrand.

There are different colours, depending on what Chaos God the unit belongs to. This is to keep it in line with the other forces of Chaos, so Khorne Daemons and Khorne Bloodbound will be of the same colour.

Errata for the Empire Cards - Warrior Priest

Hi,

During our latest game we found that the Warrior Priest on the Empire Unit Cards pack had the text and stats of Luthor Huss printed on it.

This has been corrected, so anyone downloading the Empire Unit Cards from now on will get the correct version.

For those of you who have already printed out the Empire Cards, here's the single fixed Warrior Priest card so you don't have to print the rest of the cards on the page again!

Just for some fun facts, I've calculated the how many points each of the new Age of Sigmar "Start Collecting!" armies comes to. We have not yet provided points for any Battalions, so the exlusive one provided in each set is not accounted for.
