Just a fun post on where it seems most people are interested in the PPC. This takes into account the number of visitors on this site from each country. It's not really related to the update or anything, but still could be fun to know :)

Since there are leaks from the Ironjawz Battletome (see the nice War of Sigmar blog here) , and it would surprise me alot if they turned out not to be true, I took the liberty of calculating the point costs for these units.

Check them out, and use this opportunity to comment on these bad boyz before they become an official part of the PPC army lists :)

GA: Order Battalions

Some of you have been asking about the Battalions from the latest Grand Alliance book (Order). Ninthmusketeer from the Dakkadakka PPC thread has once again come to the rescue and put points to them. They will all be in for the May update, but if you want to playtest them earlier than that (and provide feedback on them before the update)...here they are:

In about two or three weeks time, we will make the update to PPC v2016.05.

This means it's time to let us know about any and all concerns you have about units - does something cost too much? Too little? Let us know now please, so we can evaluate better for the update. Also let us know why you think the cost is too high/low.

Grand Alliance: Order Update

Hi!

I've managed to go through the Grand Alliance: Order warscrolls now, and added/reviewed the units that had their warscrolls updated with the book. Some units have had their point costs changed, so please review your army list again. Let me know if we missed any units!

High Cost Monsters/Heroes

I sometimes get the question why the PPC system often puts a higher points cost to monsters and monstrous heroes compared to many other comp systems. I think this topic deserves some of our thoughts on the matter, so here goes:

AoS Battleplans 3 - The Balance of Power

In anticipation for the Godbeasts campaign book, it's time to take a look at the battleplans of the third campaign book for Age of Sigmar, The Balance of Power.

This book is probably the most balanced one so far to use with the PPC system. Most battleplans will require no additional tweaks. Just purchase armies of equal points and you will be in for some good battles!
