Points Values of the Starter Armies

Just for some fun facts, I've calculated the how many points each of the new Age of Sigmar "Start Collecting!" armies comes to. We have not yet provided points for any Battalions, so the exlusive one provided in each set is not accounted for.

Here's a link to the pre-order armies on Games Workshop's webshop:
AoS Starter Armies

This is the result:

Greenskinz = 520p
Orruk Warboss on War Boar
110p
Orruk Warboss with Great Waagh! Banner
120p
1 Orruk Boar Chariot
80p
5 Orruk Boar Boys (Full Command)
125p
10 Orruk Boyz (Full Command)
85p

Malignants = 540 pts
Mortis Engine
3 Spirit Hosts
5 Hexwraith

Seraphon = 744 pts
Oldblood on Carnosaur
340p
8 Saurus Knights (Full Command)
259p
12 Saurus Warriors (Full Command)
145p

Slaves to Darkness = 597 pts
Chaos Sorcerer Lord
100p
Chaos Chariot
75p
5 Chaos Knights (Full Command)
205p
12 Chaos Warriors (Full Command)
217p

NOTE: The Sorcerer Lord can be upgraded with the Grand Invocation spell, adding another 100p to it!

Daemons of Nurgle = 525 pts
Herald of Nurgle
70p
3 Plague Drones (Full Command)
265p
3 Nurglings
80p
10 Plagebearers of Nurgle (Full Command)
110p

Daemons of Khorne = 465 pts
Herald on Blood Throne
125p
3 Bloodcrushers (Full Command)
210p
10 Bloodletters (Full Command)
130p

For some comparison, the armies of the AoS Starter Set comes in at:
Stormcast Eternals = 720 pts
Khorne Bloodbound = 650 pts

All in all, it looks like these new starter armies are of very good value if you're about to start a new army or enter the world of Age of Sigmar. With the Seraphon army, you even get more points than the Stormcast from the starter set! The "loser" of these new armies is the Daemons of Khorne set, which doesn't even amount to 500 points, but all the other sets provide enough models for 500+ points, not bad at all!

Cheers!
